Stone Soup VII attendance

    Hello my fellow Phila BAs,
    Please take a quick second and indicate your attendance status on the BA event calendar for our Seventh Annual BA Stone Soup gathering on Jan. 26, 2013. We are currently planning the event as it is the Saturday on the weekend prior to the Super Bowl. (please do not copyright infringe me, Roger Goodell) The food prices vary in accordance. We would appreciate an approximate head count ahead of time. The more, the merrier.

    Thanks, and let's hope that this is the best BA Gathering Stone Soup year, ever.

    Uggghhhh.... why does everything have to be 4 and half hours from where I live now?

    Can someone familiar with the area recommend a good/decent hotel nearby? A Kayak search shows a number of places in the vicinity, but it's difficult to tell how good they are, or their proximity to the Wet Whistle.

    Yes. With luck it won't be for too long (good chance of getting transferred back to Oregon within the year), but for now I'm in Morgantown. Nothing against Morgantown and WV, but the beer situation around here pretty much sucks.

    Need to make many road trips, just to maintain what little sanity I have left. :-)

    I saw Morgantown and thought it was Morgantown, PA, which is about 20 minutes west of me. Then I saw the 4 1/2 hour drive post and thought, "Heh, wrong Morgantown".
