I was debating between Chez Monieux (batch 1), or Alpine Ichabod 09 (pumpkin sour), my rarest sours, and ive got many barrel aged stouts ive acquired in trades i can contribute

That's not entirely true. The first pour I got in line for last year was Cuvee de Champions. And if I recall correctly it cost me 2 tickets to taste it.

Word while in line 15 minutes before they opened to the public, was it was already gone before the public was allowed in.

I know being one of the 1st of the general public allowed in, it was already gone when I went for it with my first pour. If you managed to get it, good for you, early bird gets the worm.

Yah we went in right when the doors opened (part of the general public cuz we ain't nuthin special). We were at the very front of the line and I think it was just before 10am when they opened the doors. I do remember it being gone in just a few minutes, and I think they only had like 2 or 3 bottles.

We showed up last year at about 9:40, checked in for our wrist band, and were at the bottle station well before 10. It was definitely long gone by then. =(

Correct that was last year when we did a soft opening of which anyone who showed up early was able to get in. As I said above though, there will not be a soft opening this year. That being said you will still want to get there before 10 so you aren't the 400th person in line. Cheers, Bill

Are 800 tickets sold to this event, or was Bill just stating a point about the rare beers not being available to everyone?

RR phones it in again! They've got to have some Compunction available or some other rare stuff.

Had a great time. Cascade live barrels stole the show. Also enjoyed the firestone walker sloambic.
At the bottle share, really enjoyed the malvassa Rosso, thanks matt.
I hope everyone enjoyed the Societe brews, the harlot, the apprentice and the pupil. Also the select few that got some cantillon 07 st. Lam, hope you enjoyed.
    Cheers
    Irvington

Loved the Firestone Walker SLOambic and Cascade Elderberry. Those two were definitely my favorites. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Cascade Blueberry. It was delicious! I wasn't that impressed with Brux or The Bruery's 100% Brett Blonde. Also some girl stole my girlfriend's pen. We left it on our table, and when we came back, it was gone. Not long after that we saw it in the back pocket of this girl's white pants. We know who you are

Really enjoyed the Bear Republic Tartare. Also FW Sloambic, Cascade Elderberry and Pater and Blueberry.
Did not enjoy the joker who offered Ivan's Revenge sauced wings at Churchhill's afterwards.
