Stone to Iowa?

I have not heard much other than a crew from stone stopped in at El Bait Shop and was asking about distribution. I guess its going to be wait and see for now I hope some one picks them up soon!

 

I believe the brewery reps stopped in at The Sanctuary as well. Would love to have an option to pick up Stone here very much.

 

The stopped (or at least talked to) several other places as well. I would be very surprised if it didn't happen.

 

I've heard rumors of this as well from a good source, but also that it's not impending, just on their radar.

 

With all that capacity there adding I think we have a good shot at it in the next year!

 

I talked to a reliable source today and he said he had talked to Stone reps recently and anticipates that their beers will be available in Iowa City at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter (around September or October).

 

I've believe I saw Arrogant Bastard in 1 of the Hy-Vees, try the Valley Junction location.

 

I can't wait, some really solid brews I've missed since moving to Iowa.

The guy that posted this thread works for a distributor. Looks like it's a for sure thing.

 

Got an e-mail from one of the Hy-vee Wine and Spirits managers stating in would be in his store early October!! Great news for you guys in Iowa!!! Wonder what all will be available to start with?

Now if they would distribute to Rochester, that would make me really happy.

 

I am expecting Stone this week in Council Bluffs.

 

Welp, doesn't look like Stone will hit this week... its coming sooner than later. I will update.

 

Oct. 1st Stone will hit in Iowa.

 

Nice. Do you know if it will be only eastern Iowa, or will Des Moines be getting Stone as well?
