Tried this one last night, thought it had enough of that IPA punch for the low ABV. That said, at $13.99 a six pack by me I probably won't be buying it again.

Seems like I am in the minority, but I prefer Go To over All Day.

I'll try this soon, but it's been really overpriced for a session ipa. I can get a 15 pack of all day for $16. If I'm paying $2 a beer I can get dirtwolf or a lot of other stuff.

I don't know why so many people dislike the Go To IPA. It smells and tastes almost purely of grapefruit, and it has about the perfect level of bitterness IMO. Sure, the mouthfeel is slightly thinner than higher abv IPAs, but it didn't bother me at all, since it made it highly drinkable. Its mouthfeel is more like a pilsner--crisp and refreshing, poundable. I drank four in a row and could have easily drunk the whole six-pack--and barely felt buzzed, too, so it certainly does its job as being sessionable. It just has an incredibly citrusy fresh aroma and taste. I think it's delicious.

Horseheads, you made a zombie thread! :stuck_out_tongue:

All kidding aside, Stone did fantastic with Go-To imo. They are one of only a few breweries who produce a session ale that does not taste like water. While it is not my favorite style of beer, I am certainly more inclined to drink one now thanks to Pizza Port, Founders, and especially, Stone Brewing. :grinning:

I agree that the aroma is easily the best out of any session IPA on the market but, for me, it just doesn't translate fully to the flavor. And the weak mouthfeel and steep price tag ensure that I won't ever buy it. Just my .02

Lagunitas DayTime is still my favorite session IPA. Great full flavor on that one.

Yeah, sorry for bringing up a dead thread, but I had had it recently and was so impressed I couldn't tolerate all the bad comments about it here. Haha.
