I've collected quite a few bottles over the years and it's time to start thinning out some stuff I'll probably never drink. I have a few Stone vintage beers, 04, 06 Vertical Epics, Anniversaries 8-16, etc... I've drank so many of these and don't have much interest in drinking any that remains. They've been cellared properly and I'm sure most are drinkable. They'll just have an aged taste. I don't want to toss them. I'd like to see if there's any interest and then maybe do some posting in the trade forum. I'd want very little for them, maybe just decent shelf stuff from around the country. Appreciate feedback
I was actually going through my cellar today and need a 2006 and 2009 Double Bastard to complete my vertical. Have either of those?
Just drank an '11 the other night. Was quite good. No more of those left. But... I have 1 12th Anniv Bitter Choc Oatmeal Stout left if that floats your boat.
I guess I would if I knew someone wanted them. Most scoff at the idea of consuming aged beers unless they were truly meant for aging.
I definitely would want them, especially the 12th Anniversary- I don't know if I'd have anything to trade for them that you'd want, though. You could always do a LIF (lottery it forward) and have some sort of contest where somebody wins the beer. You could always have them send you a label so you're not out much money for shipping.
