Overall, I think its kinda meh. Stone normally kills it for me, but this was for me one of their most disappointing offerings. Hope the coconut ipa is good though.

 

I liked the pecan flavor of it pretty well. I just thought it was a bit thin.

 

Sorry...saw this. Got mine at Red Dog. I know Midtown and craft brewed got it as well. Unfortunately they are probably gone by now.

Is that the one beside the big grocery store and McDonalds? If it is, the last time I went there (years ago) they didn't even have beer.

 

I will have to check this place out down there... I have never stepped foot in that place....

yeah thats the place... they dont have near the selection of party mart, nor do they carry anything you cant get at party mart.....its just on my way to work so the lagunitas convenience is good.....actually they may have a better whiskey selection

 

one really cool thing about madison south though is that they will get you kegs...a month or so ago, they had kegs of torpedo and various sweetwater beers in the shop ready to go

 

As of yesterday Beer Trappe ha it on tap an I spied about twenty bottles of it on the back right top shelf.

 

Had this on tap, pretty good, but a little too sweet for my tastes. Reminded me of Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre. Stone beers are usually pretty dry, but I guess their house yeast can only get a 13% beer so dry.

 

Did you have it on draft?

 

I have had it on draft and bottles. I guess my palate is broken though. I found it quite enjoyable.

 

Yep, had it on draft. And despite what I wrote, I still bought a bottle of it a week or so later. Figured I'd let it age for a while and try it again.
