I think it was nationally distributed the first time around. At least a ton of it came to IL. I haven't seen in in Chicago yet so I think its safe to say it hasn't been released yet.

I love this one. I think i like it better that fyodor's classic to be honest. I loaded up the first time around and 1.0 was fantastic

Stone's having a release party for it on July 23, so if your area is gonna get it look around then.

Okay, so while we admit that the Wonder Twins did not help us make this very special beer, the trio who created it—geek idol Wil Wheaton (http://wilwheaton.net/ ,fark.com(http://www.fark.com/ creator Drew Curtis and Aisha Tyler (http://aishatyler.com/ , über-talented actress, comedian and homebrewer—are superheroes as far as we're concerned. It was a challenging brew and took a decidedly heroic amount of effort to pull off. Californians and Kentuckians take note: Because it was such a labor of love, this amazing stout will be making a very limited appearance in California and Kentucky only. If you're receiving this, you are among the lucky few. Congratulations!

 

You've got to be kidding me!? I'm still lucky enough to have 2 bottles, but would love to add this years to the cellar. Any BA willing to hook a brother up? BM me...I'm sure we can work something out.

 

They're releasing this at the company stores...mine is going to have it tomorrow

They have like 5 company stores in SoCal. The stores have about 20 taps, a few coolers and some good merch. A few in Escondido, one in oceanside, one in pasadena. HOWEVER, I've seen a few bottle shops in the area getting some

the flavor profile is supposed to themed after Kentucky Derby Pie..makes perfect since why Kentucky would be one of the two states that get it...

 

Had it this morning at the Stone Store in Pasadena...very nice...picked up a case...

 

Today Bottles hit many liquors in San Diego
