Liquor Boy SLP has a load in the cooler at....wait for it....$9.99. They had a Super Hero and the one with just the name of the beer on it at the front of the cooler, but I didn't look to see what the rest of them were behind it. Never heard before that any one artwork was supposed to be harder to find than any other, until this thread. But given the "geek" collector aspect of this collaboration, it would make total sense.

 

Went to north loop last night, they had 6 left, i took 3. Plan to cold age and cellar. Drank one last night.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. The alcohol wasnt really that present to me on the front end, but it came through in the aftertaste. It was alot creamier than I would have thought being 13%. Sometimes it gets to acidic for me, but this sat pretty well.

 

Yeah Surdyk's had all three, I had to dig to the back to find the one with the super hero's. I grabbed the one with the comic at North Loop Wine and Spirits.

 

Has anyone had the pleasure of trying it on tap yet? Curious how it compares to one you had in the bottle.

saw plenty at Cellars in Roseville, didnt get it cause there are too many other goodies to grab and not enough money.

 

If anyone still needs this, i was at F44 on saturday. They had 4 cases sitting in the cooler, 4 bottles in the fridge. I asked about the comic ones, and they had plenty of the "special" bottles.

Also - their beer guy said they "might" be getting R&R when it shows up.

(they also had plenty of Vitus left... if you are into that kinda thing)

 

Picked up 2 bottles at Cellars Roseville on Saturday for $9.99 apiece

 

There's some in the sewer pipes here in my town. Couldn't stomach that stuff. IMO, dirty brown water trash.

 

I picked up a bottle @ $7.99 here. FT if anyone is interested.

 

I didn't like it. The dark chocolate bitter taste was overpowering. Shared the bottle with a few others, they felt the same.
