Stone - Xocoveza 2016

This stuff is scrumptious! Loved this on tap at the brewery. Felt like it had more body. I'll set a few of these off to the side and revisit in a few months.

Hasn't hit NorCal either. I have a bottle of last years regular and bourbon barrel aged sitting in my beer fridge ready to try along with this years release.

Still no sightings in central Indiana even though the Stone website says it arrived here a week ago. Talking to a couple store owners, I get the feeling its a distributor issue. Frustrating that nearly all the surrounding states have been selling it for a week now but local stores are still telling me its a couple weeks away here.

 

Any word on the 16oz cans? I know I saw a mockup at some point but am struggling to locate the image.

Same shit happens in Arkansas with every release. Weeks later and after all the fanfare, the bottles start to show up.

Anybody by Orange county and newport beach area looking for Stone Xocoveza? I just scored a great price on them. I went to check out and ask the cashier for a price check on Xocoveza. They proceed to call the beer and wine guy to get price. i show him a picture and he said it was $8.99/6pk. i ran back and got 2-6pks to go. they had to manual push it in, but it was a deal. YMMV if they correct the pricing...or it could be a promo price.

 

Picked up a case last weekend in NYC for $54, steal of the year, so good!

 

No sighting in NM yet.. Retail is usually $17/sixer or about $68/case.

Wow 54$ I just spent 72$. Still worth it IMO but for 54 I'd of grabbed two.

 

They're $20 a six pack over here. They are delicious however, so to me it's worth the price.

 

Do your bottle shops sell by the case? Always wondered how people end up with full cases of limited release beers. Still haven't seen Xocoveza in northern CA
