I will always support Stoneface because they have great customer service and are local. Not to mention they happen to make excellent beers. The price seems fine to me.

Like I said, I think they are great guys and plan to support them and buy some as well, just don't see how that means I have to be happy with paying $8 for a 16.9oz bottle. I quoted Heady and Mastermind as those are two I am drinking a lot of right now. Also just picked up a case of Galaxy Dry Hopped Fort Point at $8.05 for 25oz bottle. Not a DIPA but also a limited release. Hell, if you buy the Stoneface DIPA at the case price it is still more expensive than Double Sunshine (not as limited I know but not exactly easy to get either).

And not having to drive makes a difference as well, though I happen to like visiting VT. Maybe if Newington could get a Pro Pig and Blackback franchise too....(and a Worthy Burger!)

Again, not trying to argue with anyone. I am happy to have Stoneface around and will continue to support them, just wish they had gone with different size packaging.

RIS is still set to be released before Thabksgiving. Same size bottles. The label is silver on black, looks killer. I also believe a small amount will be put into barrels for a later release.

Not real sure on the comparison to Double Sunshine price. If you have to drive 2.5 hours to get maybe 3 bottles of Double Sunshine not sure how that affects the usual price which is $8.95 a bottle plus deposit. At that point I will gladly pay $90 a case for Hopulization and not drive 2.5 hours for 3 bottles of beer. Enough talk about pricing either you choose to buy the beer or not. I plan on buying all I can get and support the Best brewery in NH!

Did anyone try the India Red Rye? Curious whether it's on par with the IPA and APA and worth grabbing bottles if they're still around today.

It's pretty damn good also. Right up there I thought. But not as good as the IPA.

The Red Rye is outstanding, IMO. Maybe the best I've had in that style (though I can't claim to have had many).

Was first in line today at 12:30. 2 other people walked over from cars after that. Minutes later the line was over 20 deep. Not sure how long the bottles will last. Lots of cases being purchased. I only took 4, save more for the rest. Sample tastes amazing...good stuff!

Got there around 2:20 myself and there was no line at all. In and out in minutes with 6 bottles. Would not have minded hanging out a bit but had to get home to prepare for the 200+ trick or treaters we expect tonight...(yeah, we hand out full size candy bars!).

Apparently half their stash was gone at 4. Get it while it lasts

Grabbed a couple bottles around 3:30, they were down to a couple growlers of the IPA so thats gone now. The sample pour of Hopulization was delicious though.

how exactly does "producing many times" "bring down the price"? what's your rationale or economic theory?

This thing is big. Really big mouthfeel and lower carb level makes for a seemingly thick beer, but the hops (hop extract? this thing just tastes like liquid hops) are definitely there to more than balance. Galaxy and a really late lingering pine that at times hits me as pure grapefruit juice.

I guess the rush came right at opening, as I got there right at 1:00 and was at least 15 back. Nice to see the turnout. The samples tasted superb and I had my first bottle tonight, which was excellent. Hope they make this again because it's a great beer.

That's exactly when I was there. I walked right in, no line. I also had to get in and out or would have hung out for a bit. Grabbed 6...... 2 for me, 4 for friends :grinning:

That teku glass is awesome by the way
