Not sure in the APA. They did make a version dry-hopped with Simcoe and Centennial they brought to a bunch of festivals and had on at the brewery. IPA is Citra and Amarillo, DIPA is Galaxy, Calypso, and Simcoe.

If you are close, cigarette city in seabrook sells the APA for less than $4 and the IPA for less than $5

people have been slagging MBC for their outrageous prices for years.

that said, i'd pay $8 for small batch 500ml IPA double dry hopped with galaxy, calypso, and simcoe made by a high end IPA brewery like HF or NEBCO (and apparently like stoneface).

I really like the DIPA. Might be my favorite Stoneface of the ones I have tried, IPA, APA and Rye.

My order would be IPA, DIPA, RYE, APA, Weis...until I try the RIS

The DIPA could be tied for #1 but the strength sorta makes it hard to justify the # 1 spot. I can have more then one IPA and feel ok. Even that beer is strong to me though.

Completely agree. I end up splitting the DIPAs when I want to drink a few beers in an evening. I think it had the best nose of any of them. Can't wait to try the RIS. Nice that we are getting more great breweries in New England.

Can anyone recommend a shop that carries Stoneface in Salem NH? Going to be at the mall tomorrow and would love to pick some up if it's convenient.

Not sure about in Salem, but maybe Mckinnons might they usually have a pretty good selection of craft beers. But am sure that the Drinkery in Londonderry would be a pretty sure stop to have Stoneface.

Last time I was there Stateline pay saver in Salem had both the IPA and APA, not sure on the freshness though.

Bottles have only been out for roughly 2 months, most likely fine.

Thanks for this. I have to be in the area Wednesday and will be popping in there. Curious to give this stuff a try.

Could be El Dorado hops, which have a melon/peach flavor and aroma, but some people say similar to candy.

Have not had Dinner, but I expect it to be among the best. Stoneface DIPA is top notch, no doubt about it. , Stoneface DIPA is ahead of Sip O Sunshine, behind Double Sunshine; but all ofthem are behind Second Fiddle.

Agreed, and I had SOS yesterday. I like it TONS but I just don't think SOS wows me as much. DS is better but that's a rare one to get.

After sampling some great beers over the last 3 days...my order

    Heady Topper
    Double Sunshine
    Mastermind
    StoneFace DIPA
    Stoneface IPA
    Sip of Sunshine
    Fiddle IPA

    Fav to not my fav

Had a great time at the Tap Takeover last night. Was told when we got there that we had just missed the RIS by Pete as it kicked in like 40 minutes. A few minutes later we lucked and got seats at the bar. He came back to say they had another keg to put on and got the first pour. Def a solid first RIS and I could really get the coffee up front with some nice roastiness and tobacco. From what they told me they felt the RIS at the brewery offered up much more vanilla. They next batch they are brewing now will be aged in some fantastic barrels so looking forward to the next round. the DIPA was also delicious on tap. Was a little bummed at the $6 per maybe 8 ounce pour in the little glasses but besides that we had fun.

    Good stuff from Stoneface!
