Had the RIS and Hopulization at the tap takeover. The RIS was very good, worth going to the bottle release on Friday. I like different things about both the IPA and Hopulization, both are up there for me as some of the best in New England. Glad to see these guys adding to the flourishing beer scene in the Seacoast area.

I'm assuming there will not be any DIPA today?

Unless there is some left from the previous release I don't thing there was any more planned in the near future. Just releasing the RIS today. But I might be willing to trade a couple of the few I have left.

WHYM tapped it yesterday, so you might be able to grab a pint there today.

Anybody have a sense of whether the RIS will last until tomorrow? Or even close of business today?

Not sure about quantities, but seems to be less buzz over this than Hopulization and that lasted a bit.

Yea not as many People lined up today for RIS. I really enjoyed my sample of it, but I also got to try the Porter... Can we get bottles of that please? Plan on having a full bottle of RIS after work tonight around 2 am. Looking forward to it!

The next batch will be out around February/March '15, but stores here in Nashua have the older stuff. They're aging it for me! ;-)

    Prosit!!

Speaking of Smutty Imperial Stout, The Stoneface RIS (from the Gas Light tap takeover) seemed to be in the same ballpark as the Smuttynose in terms of overall quality. Very different beers, mind you, but I think both taste great. Got some bottles yesterday, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the Stoneface ages.

Went on a brewery crawl yesterday thanks to my pregnant wife who makes a great DD.

Stoneface: IPA was great, Pale was good. The RIS was good but lots of licorice and a bit thinner than I prefer for a RIS. The porter had tons of coffee notes, so I did expect that to come through in the RIS and it did not.

Tributary is worth a stop, really cool spot, great vibes, awesome beers.

Did you happen to grab a bottle of the RIS? I thought the coffee and vanilla were much more pronounced from the bottle compared to the keg, also the alc seemed less present.

Drinking my first bottle of RIS right now this is much better than the sample I had at the brewery a couple of weeks ago. A lot of coffee and strong vanilla flavors all in all another great beer from the best brewery in NH!

I tried the RIS and the DIPA yesterday. The RIS has great coffee and vanilla flavor and it's hard to understand where the 9.5% ABV is. It is super smooth. Delicious stuff. The DIPA has a nice citrus taste, mostly orange for me, and a subtle sweetness. I think it's pretty fantastic too.

I've now had five beers (IPA, APA, Red) from these Guys, they clearly know what they are doing. Nice to see NH catching up to some of the other NE states in terms of breweries.

I loved the hopulization, but was not crazy about the RIS that I sampled at the brewery last week. There was nothing wrong with it. I just felt that it was pretty coffee-heavy, and I'm generally not a fan of coffee. Overall, those guys are brewing some awesome beer over there though.

Only had it on draft and not on bottle. After trying it on draft, I did not want to spend $9 on a 16.9oz. Really liked the IPA, so happy to support that for $5.
