Store Brand Beer?

The only place around here I've seen with a house brand is Aldi, and I was a bit circumspect toward buying dollar store beer. That price, though.

 

Beer good, cheap beer better. That's ManCave talk.

 

Aldi brand beer? That's awesome. Right next to the 13 cent cans of green beens. Roundy's brand vodka is the most hard core stuff I've seen in person.

 

So I can get shitty on a budget again?

 

I have wanted to be impressed and most often left a little disappointed. Kirkland IPA certainly was drinkable but not hard to do better-provided at a party. And i am more into variety than the obligatory 24+ of everything at Costco.

Like ketchup--I'll pick my brand(s) and stick with it(them) with a stray for variety here and there.
