I know from personal experience that you can pack a car trunck full of beer. You can pile it up and even wonder if the bottles will break from bumps in the road because there is so much beer in the trunk. And leave it in the car over night which my friend did and I didn't and his beer was fine and mine was twice hauled.

Glad that someone posted this question. I'm going on a week-long camping trip around Vermont at the end of June.. was wondering the same exact thing.
My buddy and I are planning on packing a large cooler and keeping the beers on ice as often as possible. Definitely going to try to get a few cases of Heady Topper though, and won't have enough cooler space to accommodate cases of HT, along with the other beers we intend on having with us

If you've got a few hundred $$$ you don't know what to do with, this should solve all your problems.

New to the scene and already on beer centric vacations? Trust me, this will not be your last one, so invest now in some decent 5-6 day coolers, stackable. About $70-80 bucks. Then stick with those blue ice blocks, and and rotate those overnight in hotel mini frig freezer.

Bring a cooler. You definitely will want to keep the beer cole. It shouldn't cost you too much to keep it cold, you'll have free ice in the hotel.

Had a bottle of Assassin pop open, 90s outside, approximately 6 hours with temp inside car varying. I'd recommend ice.

I'm heading up to Portland, ME this weekend. I'm bringing 3 coolers with me. I'm hitting about 7-8 breweries. I will top my coolers off once I get to the hotel. I use the hotel garbage can to fill the coolers.

Yeah, spend the buck or two and buy blocks of ice. The small cubes from the motel are fine as a top off, but buy blocks.
