How much beer do you think the drawers can hold in the fridge? I have just about filled up both drawers with beer I don't plan on drinking for some time. But now I'm having nightmares that the drawers broke and all my beer broke on the floor. The beer I'm storing is Saisons, wine barrel aged stuff, and some krieks. Let me know if anybody has any ideas. I'm afraid to store this beer in the basement because my basement has been warm all summer for some reason, the only other place I have is a garage.

It is best to store beer in an upright position to begin with, most barrel aged brews, heck most brews now days are "bottle conditioned." Meaning the will have a small yeast cake on the bottom and you don't want that to settle on the side of the bottle. Maybe it is time to invest in a mini fridge for the garage, or a cheap old fridge you might be able to find on craigslist.

I have been looking but would rather spend the money on more beer right now. whats the highest temp you would consider storing this beer?

A proper cellar aging temp should be between 50-54 degrees, but not any higher than that. You run the risk of losing characteristics or even damaging the beer you are trying to age if you let it reach over those temps. However it probably won't ruin anything if it is for a few days in a dark cool basement. But, I personally wouldn't leave them out for to long.
