I ordered a mini mash ingredient kit, just received it in the mail. I probably will not get around to brewing it for 4-5 days though. Any special instructions for storing the ingredients until brew day. Yeast obviously goes in the fridge, i usually put hops in the fridge also. Any specific temperature best for keeping my LME or my grains.

If I wanted to hang onto this stuff to brew in 2 months, could it get stale or anything?

Just letting the LME and grains sit at room temperature for 4-5 days is just fine.

If you were looking to store for a period of a few months I would suggest you store the LME in the refrigerator. Make sure the grains stay dry and cool (like basement cool).

    Cheers!

Freezer would be better for hops.

Agree with previous posts, but a bigger factor might be how well (and for how long) the ingredients were stored at your retailer.

I ordered from Austin Homebrew so I've got to think they aren't sitting on their ingredients for too terribly long
