Based on your experiences, is there any temperature that's too high to store beer? Have a bunch of BCBS, hoping to save them for special occasions, but with no AC and little fridge space, I'm worried they won't make it through the summer. Right now they're in my room, stored under my desk in boxes.

Any insight would be helpful, thanks.

Check the cellaring section on here for a few ideas. But unless your planing on some long term storage just pick the coolest dark place in your house with as little temp fluctuation as possible and you should be fine.
I see this getting moved to the cellaring section pretty soon.
    Cheers!

In my experience with beer near room temperature, light will be your enemy more so than the heat.

That being said, somewhere cooler like a closet on the bottom floor would be more ideal.

The chemical reactions that result in beer aging (and going stale or oxidizing to taste like cardboard) go faster in warmer temperatures. In addition they may proceed differently in warmer temperatures than they do at cellar temps (55) and below. But anything above comfortable room temperature is probably too warm.

While you (and they) are probably good for a couple of years in the conditions you describe you should plan on either getting them into a cellar or fridge someplace if your special occasions go further into the future than that.

You might also want to consider using them to make an occasion special as well as saving them for a specail occasion...
