Stork shuts down small brewery

    Christian Zwanzger, whose brewery is in Bad Windsheim (Bayern, Germany) has had to shut down the brewery due to a stork family nesting on his chimney. In Germany, Stork's are protected so he isn't allowed to brew using that chimney while they are nesting. The birds also come back to the same place every year to nest. Herr Zwanzger said in the video that maybe in September the next batch of beer will be finished and ready to drink after the Storks leave.

    The brewery is in Uehlfeld.

    I like the laid back attitude of the owner.

    Ala covid relief. does the state provide nest relief? Maybe that could ease the brewer's concern.
