So we now have texasdrugaddict and Czar-chasm shipping to FL. I know texasdrugaddict isn't shipping to me and Czar isn't shipping to Ray. Oh and I have posted on this page now!

I'm not sure if Texasdrugaddict is mine either. His comment about his target not posting in this thread but posting in swamp gas would seemingly eliminate me. I've posted in both.

Beer haul is complete, now just looking for some cool swag to throw in my 12-bottle shipper headed west. Looks like it will be 10 stouts, 6 of them wants or variants of wants, my favorite porter (tastes more like a stout IMO), and a non-stout want extra. Will probably ship early next week as long as I can find some cool swag this week/weekend.

Final hint (this should give it away): Manti Teo's "true" love's cousin.

I now have secured two of my targets wants and picked him up a La Muerta as well. So new guy here question, so I dont over or under do this BIF. Other than hitting as many wants as possible and sending a ton of kick ass beer, how much limited/rare stuff should we include?

I went for wants, I ended up with 350 or so oz with about 50% limited stuff. I might have gone too far, maybe not though.

I don't think you should feel like you are required to send anything limited or rare. This isn't a Whale BIF, just an 85 or higher stout BIF. If you can hit wants, then by all means, but I know I personally don't expect anything rare. My expectations are 144oz's of Stouts that aren't distributed in my area that are 85 or higher. If I happen to recieve rare, limited or extra beer on top of that, it's just icing on the cake.

yea im hitting some wants with a few harder to get/rares and the piling my targets probable ranch style house's porch with fine midwestren stouts and goodies

Above all, good stouts are what's important. My target never updated their wants and hasn't been active in this thread so I just loaded them up with good local stouts they can't get.

Two famous authors were born in my target's home state. One is known for very complicated, often flowery writing, and the other for a very sparse style. It is virtually impossible to conduct an interview with one author, and literally impossible for the other author. Both are considered influential to this date; Stephen King cites one of these authors as one of his big influences, and has a novel by the other author on his all-time top 10 list.

When you look at the box of beer you are planning to send, think to yourself "would I be absolutely psyched to receive this box?" If so, pack and send; if not, hit another want, get something more limited/rare, add mutliples/vintages of a want or highly rated "had", etc.

It's not a contest to see who can send the biggest box or most rare box of beer, it's about sending a box that you think your target will be psyched to get.

My target has, never mind that's a dead give away. I think he will be happy. My first one of these after a while so I'm pretty excited to get everything together.

ive been debating if i should send my box out now or wait a bit... for more bombers of goodness so i can fill out a full 12 shipper with bombers then a box of extra goodies... i've chosen the later...
