Hint # whatever I'm on: My target's state was part of the Confederacy.

 

I was pretty sure that it wasn't coming my way, but thanks for the history lesson--it killed about an hour of a slow Friday.

 

to my sender, I have access to NY and CT distro.

hint 1: i am shipping West.
hint 2: a former president has hailed from my targets state
hint 3: my target has more beer karma than me.
hint 4: my target state borders water.
hint 5: my target state is in the top 25 size wise.
hint 6: if allowable, my targets state would be worth a minimum of 15 points in scrabbl
hint 7: at lease one super bowl MVP played college in my targets state.
hint 8: an MLB team from your state has appeared in the World Series in the last 15 years.

 

I was hoping someone would figure it out with a little research.

 

Google, Wiki, Mapquest plus a couple of guesses/assumptions.
Why is it that I put more effort into your clues than I do my job?

 

Hint #6: I don't believe I have ever had a beer brewed by my targets state, or ever saw their state in the playoffs for anything.

I haven't

But I have been working on trades to hit a few of my targets wants. One of his most recently added is supposed to land in TX very soon

 

Hint #1.... My package will be heading West, way West....
Hint #2.... My target still hasnt posted in this thread as of yet 11/12/13...
Hint #3.... The past decade or two of voting history has shown my target lives in a decidedly "blue state"
Hint #4.... My target has several "wants" that are going to be fulfilled...
Hint #5.... My targets city is home to no less than 14 craft breweries... WOW, kinda wish he was my sender!
