Awesome either way. I love beers the have aged in sherry barrels. And MZ is one of my favorites. At 2 bottles per at the release, the Sherry MZ was a little hard to find and I was happy with the trade.

Thanks for the offer, I'll remember that next time...

VBS from last night. Not one I got through this BIF, just working my way through some 2013 items in my cellar. Didn't get much of the coffee off this but it's still drinking quite nice. Not one I'd try to age again though.

Sorry for the late beer pron.

Huge thanks to @mseitz24 for some AWESOME boxes and his patience as I was not able to get into his boxes as quickly as I wanted to. These boxes happen to land right in the middle of some major home renovations. Re-doing the entire downstairs. Drywall, plaster, priming, painting, etc. This was over the course of 2 weeks. Both boxes ended up put away, plastic coated and sealed away from drywall dust and paint overspray.

As you can see below, there was some major renovations going on in our home. The 1st box to kill my porch is below.

I don't think that pecan pie porter was from me. I thought I sent the clown shoes with the luchador on it

I had one fresh and it was fantastic and have been aging one just to see what might happen. I might see what happened soon to clear some space as well thanks to DLD

I wouldn't mind seeing some of those hauls. All the clamoring over the glassware, I'm curious to see what it's like.

So the weather for DLD sucked bad yesterday, but it didn't stop us from having an amazing time. This picture though, encapsulates the highlight of my day!

Got to meet @bevoduz and was able to try his Barrel Aged Liquid Mounds Bar and Coffee Fauxbraxas. Chad was an awesome dude and his beers were just insanely delicious. I wish I could sell my home and invest in his beer. Aside from the BVDL these were the two best beers I had all day.

@bevoduz should start a crowdfunding project to establish his own microbrewery. I'd support it!

    VBS from last night..

Got a growler of NOLA lowerline sour. What a great base beer!

Then I decided to experiment with the 2nd half of the growler. Raspberries/Strawberries in the french press. I could drink this all day > Sorry for the messy glass, was in a hurry to consume!

I didn't see a Luchador. No worries. I'm extremely happy with everything you sent. I took the Central Waters 17 to a tasting last night. That is one of the BEST BA stouts I've ever had. Great balance of barrel and roasty stout. Thanks for including. I've added it to my 'wants' list for future BIF's and trades. Thanks again Michael!

That's really strange. I swear it was a 12oz bottle of chocolate sombrero I put in the box. I've never even seen that pecan porter.

I'm glad you liked everything. I just kept grabbing stuff from the store here and there and by the time I got around to adding it up I was up past 350. I didn't want to be that guy who sent the bare minimum, especially for my first BIF.

Its good to hear the 17 is tasting good. I'll have to open one soon, haven't had it since the anniversary party on tap. You should try the drago soon. I thought they were similar but it was months apart that I drank them.
