Stout BIF Round II

Is it common practice to use seekabrew.com to make sure you don't send your match something they can access easily?

I'm lucky that we get a TON of great stouts in NC.

 

It's a must for me when looking for beers for a target.

 

I tend to agree with everyone. Seekabrew is extremely helpful. I use it in BIFs as well as normal trades when trying to include extras.

 

Agreed. There is a lot of fun in filling a box with stuff that isn't available in their state.

 

Agreed. The real fun lies in hunting down brews that your target can't normally get

 

Side note: Anyone in here living in/around Chicago?

 

We have a few in IL I see, chances are they're relatively close. I moved from the city to Madison WI about a year ago, I make the trip down at least once a month if not more.

I've been trying to land a Gillian/Halia since they came out...Have you guys in Chicago had any trouble finding them?

Can't wait either....started setting bottles aside last night. already over 144oz.....and I'm just getting started.

 

Just found out White Chocolate Moohoo should hit Atlanta next week. Plenty of time for this BIF and to be a part of the box I send out.

 

God I hope I can find that here in NC.

 

I've got about 100oz already..I've only just begun..Someone better have a reinforced porch.

 

I stopped having BIFs shipped to my house due to the damage. Now I have everything shipped to work. A concrete and steel loading dock has only sustained minor damage so far (I'm talking to you, Pimpinmidget).
You're welcome to give it your best shot, though.

 

I thought about sending a joke box a day before my real boxes that would just have two 6-packs of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout in it, but I decided my target would probably have a stroke so I shouldn't do that.
