Stout BIF Round III Hints & Hauls

Looks like I've finally been found out... well, not really as it was just a guess, but I've done so poorly at delivering regular or decent hints that I'll put an end to it now and just say that YES, I am your sender.

 

And at almost the exact same time, I find out that my sender is @henshawb! @JavaNoire seems to be shipping to someone in PA, but I know where @jbdpsu82 and @Mipper and @justanewby all live within the state, and none of them are within 40 minutes of Philly, so this hint means it's gotta be me!

edit: crap, unless it's someone in NJ... but since you were one of only 2 (plus dino) that I had left as possibles, I'm going to stick with my assumption.

FWIW you should be able guess at least 2 extras in your box based on conversations we have had. I have also come across a "Few" IPA's that are wants/should be wants...........hope you don't mind. As my count has it right now you will be getting double the required Min in Stouts alone.......then there are the lovely extras!

Yeah, I never liked that FedEx guy anyways!!! It's my wife I need to worry about. "Lift with your knees babe!" I started thinking back on oast conversations we had and it is all fuzzy...I will go back and try to figure them out!

 

A box including bottles, cans and bombers will be leaving the great lake state on its way to the mile high city. 102 oz are michigan barrel aged goodness and the rest are a mix of michigan and illinois goodness. It will be leaving monday morning so will hit sometime next week.

the bottle with no label is a BCBS 12' with vanilla..



first bottle with no label is GI sofie Paradisi..which was a huge want for me.second bottle is BCBS 12' with cherries and vanilla. that brings up the tally for the bourbon county minibif 3 more bottles.

Yeah I got that, but I'm looking for more details... counterpressure filled? How were the adjuncts added and what specifically were they (vanilla extract or a whole bean, for example)?

Would this work going from bottle to bottle rather than keg to bottle? I have all the homebrewing equipment, I'm just worried about losing carbonation in the bottle transfer (or even just in opening a bottle and recapping it with say a coffee bean inside) I've got a fair amount of BCBS so I don't mind experimenting, but at $8 each, I don't want to lose too many 'eggs' in making my 'omelette'.

edit: I'd have moved this to a BM, but it's my guess I'm not the only one interested in the answers. If I'm wrong about this just tell me.

The carbonation was pretty much the same as a regular bottle no complaint there.

 

I might have procured two more wants this evening for my target. Could be possibly shipping out next week.

 

My boxes will go out next week towards the east.
