Please throw me in, I missed out on Round 3, but had fun in Round 2 destroying a porch. I also would like April better, plus it's after Cigar City Brewing's little eeny teeny release. :-)

    IN PLEASE!

ISO @Karaoketpa as my sender! I hear there's this other Tampa area brewer that makes pretty decent beers too....

I would really like to get in on this, too. Would be my first BIF. No problems shipping early! Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!

Serious question, if it's 20 degrees out, does that actually help?

Yes, it's insulated so it helps stop outside air from coming in whether cold or warm

Sure, but if something is on a truck for days, will it still be anything above ambient temp by the time it lands on a porch? Not trying to be pedantic, I'm legitimately curious if it's just going to decrease the length of time the contents are at ambient temp or if it's going to keep it from getting there altogether. And for the sake of conversation, let's say outdoor temp is around 15-20, not some ridiculous Wisconsin temp (let alone poor @blackcloud's neighborhood)

Last year I shipped and received all winter long, rarely in insulated shippers and no issues. Don't ship light beers, high abv only!

Oh and last year I was curious about freezing, and had a few hoegardens in the fridge. So I put them in a zip lock bag and set them in my uninsulated garage to see how long they would last. It was around zero for about 2 weeks before one of them finally leaked. So, I figured several beers wrapped in bubble wrap should surely survive a few days in a truck.

Also keep in mind several packages will spend a night or two in heated distribution centers throughout the journey!

Very helpful! Lots of people express so much concern about winter-time shipping, and since I didn't get started until last April, I have no experience of my own. This allays a lot of my concerns.

You need to be careful before someone reports this post. I think it is clearly againt the TOS to use big words like "pedantic" and "ambient" after a certain time on a beer website. Just looking out for you :grinning:

hahahaha, this made me crack up. I think you're right though, just one porter back at 6pm is clearly not getting it done.
