I agree completely. Shipped 4 boxes last year during the real cold snap, sub zero temps, and no problems. Had one sit in the warehouse for days (or on a truck) when the snow stopped deliveries. I worried about that one, but again no problems!

I worked at ups as a damage corrdinator in Sacramento and freezing is a problem. We had plenty of wine and beer bottles break because of cold weather. All the bottles were in foam containers and some were bubble wrapped. Even though you haven't experienced it I am guessing if 30 or 40 packages are being shipped across country there is a chance we could lose a few.

I want in if it's going to be Spring.

Weather here is fine and i can receive all winter (... hmmmm.....wording...) but i'd rather not ship to Chicago, MN, ME etc, etc...in FEB

Do you mean pre-April? It looks like the consensus is sometime in April (I'd prefer the end of the month, though @bbpro47 suggested the beginning of it) which is technically Q2. Hoping this shift wouldn't keep you out.

Hmmm...we will be house hunting around that time...if this is still open closer to time, I'll check back in. I love stouts.

Your sender could just consider your box to be a house warming gift...what better way to move into a new place that with a box of stouts!

Started collecting stouts. Looks like I am in for the next round. March/April works for me.

I would love to do this, part of the NBS BIF project that @Lehighace06 is helping with. My first ever beer shipment will be going out in the next 3 weeks or so and hopefully someone will be able to sponsor or vouch for me by the time this shipment happens.

The other easy solution is to have (relative) newbies ship earlier than the established part of the group, but I'm not sure what @bbpro47's take on that concept is. And don't forget to let me (or @TongoRad I think volunteered as well) know if you have any questions about getting everything packed up, or anything else about the BIF.
