I stocked up on some great midwestern stouts ... I'm sort of hoping they're in my target's distro area so I can drink them myself though!

I'm waiting to see where my target lives before going shopping, but my cellar is full of very high quality stouts so hopefully I'll be able to hit a few of my target's wants. Make sure wants are up to date! Use seekabrew.com!

I agree. I've got some great stouts. But, if my target has access to the same stuff that I do, I'm going to need to do some more shopping. I just hope I don't disappoint someone!

i figure the distro on the stouts i've got is small enough that I had no worries picking up the ones i did.

and if it so happens that they do have/ or can get said stouts... oh no! i'll have to drink them myself :grimacing:

Shopping is on hold until I get a target. Hoping for a west coast target, but whatever works.

    In the rules it states:

Beers must be listed on Beer Advocate as a Stout, American Stout, Russian Imperial Stout, etc..

Can this include Porters? I have some fantastic porters available to me that were brewery release only but won't include them if they shouldn't be.

    Thoughts?

IMO Porters are not stouts and should not be included, I plan on going well over the 144oz requirement and that is where I would throw in some non-stouts!

Got a few ideas. Doing some tantric breathing and shit until I get the target. I hope your porches are all concrete.

I'm with atoulouk. 144oz of "Stouts" and anything above 144oz is fair game for Porters, etc.

I know I would be just as happy with rare porters as I would a stout, but thats just me

I'm just going to throw this out there, but if a stout in on our targets wants list, but is lower than 85, that is still fair game right? I mean, if they want it we should send it to them regardless of what other BAs say, right?
