There must be something in the ait, fall maybe? I was craving a good stout all week. I have several IPA's in the fridge, but wanted something more. Last night I found a four pack of Founders Breakfast at Whole Foods. Liquid heaven!!!

I had it on tap, yuck....but then again I dislike most fruit beers. YMMV

Lindley Park from Olde Hickory is brewed with raspberries and honey and aged in Bourbon barrels.

If you find some 3 Floyds try to get their Moloko stout if it's still even around. I had some at their brewpub and it was incredible.

Well the craving is over after a pretty long run. I picked up another 6 of stout dont get me wrong but I am definitely in the mood for a wheat and am working on a Pschoor right now. It was a long run for a stout craving as mine usually only last a day or two. Cheers.

Ive been trying like heck to find 3Floyds. I'll try some places this weekend and have a buddy from work going to bring me a few bottles next week.

Funny you should mention stouts. Went shopping today at a new store and scored a case of Founder's Breakfast and 6 bottles of Stone Espresso. Add those to my already purchased Old Rasputin's and I'm now in stout heaven. There is frost on the pumpkins and that signals stout time for me.

There is a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout at home that I'm dying to have if this awful day at work will ever end. Never had one but at this point any beer would probably be the best one I've ever had.

    It's not a craving, it's a necessity!

For years I was an IPA drinker, long before the IPA became the craft beer preferred by most drinkers. As I've grown older I've gotten a little worn out by all the bitterness, and started yearning for something a little smoother, more mellow. So now I drink mostly porters and stouts, and I'm a happier man because of it!!!

I drink IPA's year round and almost exclusively, but I have been enjoying a four pack of SN Narwal this week, and last night I had Clown Shoes Very Angry Breast; it was awesome. I'm no stout expert, but I would suggest trying this if you see it. Great bourbon flavor. Can't wait to pickup another.

BCBS is my go to Stout, I always have some lying around. Terrific night capper that usually turns my lights out.

I can understand the wild cravings of a good stout when the weather gets cold. Perhaps a nice English Brown Ale would hit the spot, try Abita Turbodog.

Stouts are fantastic. I had a craving for some the other day so I suppressed the feeling with some Ten Fidy. Awesome stuff by the way.

I look at choosing beer styles based on a color spectrum tied to the calendar. The palest, lightest colors in the Summer, the darkest in the Winter. In the heat of July I want Pilseners, Helles, Hefes, in the cold of winter I want Stouts, Porters, Dopplebocks and Scotch Ales.
