Unfortunately, I don't have access to FFF or Founder's. I'm trying to get ahold of some though

Message me when you see Moloko hit the trading boards and I'll see if I can hook you up.

I figured that would be the case with FFF but wasn't sure about Founders. Message me when you see Moloka hit the forums (fall if I remember correctly) and pethaps we can set something up.

Definitely Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout, it's like a good cup of coffee, mixed with with yoo-hoo, combined with beer. Three awesome drinks in 1.

I'd go with KBS or the Abyss from Deschuttes

No new news here, but I'll throw my support behind Young's Double Chocolate, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal, Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal and Samuel Adams Cream Stout as some great, easy to find "starter" stouts. Don't think you can get New Holland in Maryland, but have a look at The Poet if you can find it; very smooth brew indeed. Once Autumn rolls around, grab a few Founder's Oatmeal Breakfast Stout and kick the flavor (and ABV) up a notch.

Ale Smith's Speedway Stout was heavenly. Even drank it on a very warm and humid day.

I'm not a Stout lover either, but Hoppin Frog's BORIS is great.

Backing all the recommendations for Left Hand Milk Stout, LH Milk Stout Nitro, and Founder's Breakfast Stout. I liked Southern Tier's Creme Brulee very much when I was first getting into stouts, along with those three, so it may not be too sweet for you right now while you're getting into stouts. Not sure if I'd like it or not now - haven't had it since then.

As for the Sam Adams Cream Stout - how is it that I live in Boston and have not seen or heard of this until now?

Samuel Smith's Chocolate Stout and Oatmeal Stout, and Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout are great. Also in the fall is Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin Oatmeal Stout, this is seasonal. You won't get smoky or roasted flavors in these like you do in other stouts.
