Just wondering if y'all know of any liquor stores in central Jersey (Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer) that have a good selection of stouts. Most carry a small selection of standards (e.g. Guinness, Founders, Left Hand, Old Rasputin) but it seems as the years go by less is carried by my frequent haunts. I should say that I have a predilection for non-milk stouts, though I do drink them. That Mexican Chocolate Yeti stout I had last year when Great Divide tapped their keg during GABF was phenomenal.

I don't head up the way often but Joe canals in Lawrenceville gets a fair bit of stuff. They were one of few places with BCBS anniversary (you needed to buy the whole set, maybe a week ahead of time, online though). They have yeti, oskar blues ten fidy, some BCBS. They don't have any evil twin, which makes great shelfie stouts. But it's the one place I can speak to. Hope it helps. I'm sure others in that area will will have even better options.

I should say check their website. It's inventory seems pretty updated. So you don't have to waste your time if nothing there is exciting to you.

    I live in central NJ/Middlesex.

These are the stores I visit regularly.

Woodbridge: Wegmans (decent selection) and Joe Anal's (great selection).

East Brunswick: Fine Wines & Liqours Great selection
Jersey Fine Wines: Good selection (however greatest IPA selection in the area)
    Adelphia: Great Selection

Milltown Buy Rite: Very Good selection, albeit the pricing can get wonky

For Mercer, I'd say Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, Libby's Liquors about a 10 minute drive away and Buy Rite on 31 in Pennington. Those are my spots.

Appreciate the replys. I go to Joe canals often enough, their selection has been a little all over the place recently with regard to all their styles of beers, a lot of mediocre beers, but I keep going back which stands for itself. I've been to the rest , but some not in a while so thanks for the suggestions. Used to stop into fine wines and liquors and Libby's years ago, and kinda forgot about them, so thanks for reminding me.
