Going to be in NE DC over the weekend. Any place nearby for tasty stouts?

Just go to ChurchKey. You'll find more then enough good beer to bruise your wallet.

NE is quite broad. If you are looking for a store, Schneiders in Capitol Hill is actually in NE. But the metro will give you access to (pretty much) everywhere.

Seriously, take a look at Beerfly/places for this question. There are numerous stores and good beer bars in the DC area, and as raveskdr mentioned, the metro should pretty much give you access to the entire city, no matter where you are. I personally am a fan of the Dupont Circle area, just because there are so many options around there (Big Hunt, Pizza Paradiso, Churchkey and Bier Baron, to name a few - there's also a Whole Foods over on P street that has a decent selection, and Connecticut Ave wine and liquor is close by as well).

    Good luck.

There are few options in Northeast DC; the only exception would be the so-called H Street Corridor. But, the aforementioned Churchkey is the primo venue in town.
