Someone in the Revolution Deep Wood thread mentioned that there was an unexpected drop of Straight Jacket cans recently. I'll be visiting Chicago this weekend (staying in Lake View) and would love to find some SJ to take home with me. Anyone seeing it on shelves anywhere near there?
That was me, and unfortunately for you, I'm one of the downstate Binny's folks. My beer guy said it was likely a local distributor "finding some" and not a second drop situation. Hopefully one of the fine Chicago BA's can help you out, but my guess is that SJ won't be something easy to find right now.
Ah, thanks for this info. Sounds unlikely that I'll see it on shelves, so I think I'll try to find some via trade.
