Strange fermentation?

    I’m getting strange fermentation that I’ve never really seen before. I did use some grains I’ve not used before. Just basic S05 yeast. Is this harmless protein clumps? This is about 18 hours after pitch.

    It looks to me like everything, including trub/break materials, went into the fermenter after chilling. While not ideal, it's not microbe contamination if that's what you're wondering.
