    I’m about to toast the last two episodes of Stranger Things season 3 with a can of the Pizza Port Modern Times colab Gentle Reminder. Tasty beer, but not quite “strange”... whatever that means. What’s a more appropriately-themed Stranger Things libation that I should be drinking?

    Considering the show is all about 80s nostalgia - I think a throwback 80s beer would be the best!

    Sierra Nevada Bigfoot

    It was introduced in 1983 - the same year the first season of Stranger Things takes place. The strange creature aspect of Bigfoot is fitting. The show takes place in Indiana and there have been Bigfoot "sightings" there since '73 (which were obviously really Demogorgons, but people didn't know what they were yet). You can also nurse the beer over an episode instead of having to pause it to refill your glass with another.

    Seeing as how the story revolves around a group of kids in Indiana, probably Dad's (root) beer.

    I just thought of a beer that I used to love decades ago but haven't seen in years... Dixie's "Blackened Voodoo". Do they even make that anymore?

    I'd vote for a strongly hallucinogenic beer - like Waldos' or Double Trouble, or... HA Navaja (if I could get it - sigh). :wink:

    Interesting. I personally hate the new label in comparison to what it was with the swamp scene before, but whatever. The oddest thing for me is that it now contains Cascade hops, but maybe they're at a minimum and not a strong point in either the flavor or aroma.

    I just finished episode 8 of Season 3 last night. Such an entertaining series on many levels. Got to go with Schlitz/nostalgia. If there is a Coors Party Ball sighting anywhere, that would be a good 2nd choice.


    PS: I didn't put too much thought into it last night and just had a local Brewer's Alley Pale Ale (Opera House) while watching the season finale.
