    I’m SUCH a sap I cried when they said goodby. Looking back, my family moved us to NJ where I had LITERALLY never seen an African American in real life. That being said, it was a wonderful black girl who took me under her wing. Still a traumatic time to say goodby to the only home I’d ever known.

    Dixie is one of my favorite beers. They put a lot of effort into keeping the brand alive after Hurricane Katrina wiped out the brewery. It is my go to beer when I'm in Alabama and the pan handle. Look on the date, though. I bought some in a Winn-Dixie in Destin Florida not too long ago and it tasted like shit. But then the expiration date was well over a year ago so I expect that it was some of the old Minhas inventory.
