Strong Ales...What are you?

    To me, strong ales (particularly 'Murican strong ales) are either A) imperial red/amber/brown ales not explicitly called an imperial red/amber/brown ale or B) barleywine-esque beers that aren't quite 'big' enough to be called a barleywine. Sometimes they're even just barleywines (hi, Brown Shugga!)

    PS: Arrogant Bastard is a hoppy brown ale in my opinion.
