Does anyone know the hours for the Struise shop in Brugge? I'm thinking about taking a train to there tomorrow while I'm still in Belgium but I'd prefer to do that if the store is open!

    Cheers!

Woops - looks like it's closed on Mondays. OR it was randomly closed today. It was very difficult to stare at all of the Struise beers through the shop windows without having the ability to buy them.

My apologies for highjacking this thread slightly, but I wonder if anyone can suggest good places to buy Struise beers if I'm unable to make it to Brugge. I'm going to be spending a night in Poperinge and 2 nights in Brussels. Also, any idea which beers I'll be able to find? Bieres Gourmet is still listing Kabert and Cuvee Delphine, so I'm hopeful I can pick some of those up in person somewhere.

    FYI

BA tag Yapi (Bart) works at the store. Or at least did when I was there last fall. He is super nice and very accomidating to me and my friends when we were visiting Brugge. He even gave us a great restaurant reccomendation and dropped us off at the restaurant on his way home as he was closing the shop when we left. You could probably send him a Beer Mail I am sure he could give you details on the hours.

If you're spending a night in Poperinge why not go out to Struise and buy them from the source? I was going to but my friend and I ran out of time the day we were in the area. Struise is in nearby Oostvleteren - check out their page here on BA.

I emailed them, but they said that currently the brewery can only be visited on Saturday and we are only in Belgium W-F

That is a bummer. I don't believe I've seen Kabert or Cuvee Delphine at Beer Planet, De Beer Tempel or Delirium Cafe in Brussels; maybe Bier Circus or the other beer stores have it though.
