I can get it at bottle shops over in Belgium for ~3-4 EUR if I remember correctly. So that's roughly 5 USD at the current exchange rate. Once you consider that you're going to pay a mark up for importation, ~$8 seems decent, $15 is a little steep...

All three in the Pannepot line are very good beers though! I would highly recommend almost any De Struise product!

EDIT: Just now read entire thread and saw that OP already purchased at $7.99 instead of 15. Glad to hear. Hope you enjoy it!

Everyone calls me an IPA guy, but there are a few of the Quads and some stouts that always gets my taste buds roaring. This Pannepot Reserva is one-o-the best.

That's a little pricey, BUT, like someone said earlier, I'm of the mind-set that if you have never had it, and it's not available anywhere else cheaper, it's worth the one-time buy.

If you can't source it anywhere else and are unlikely to see it again I'd say take the reeming and part with
the cash. Otherwise hold. It is a great beer.

If it's '08, then I would probably purchase it for $15..

I enjoyed one of mine last year. Best quad I've had to date, and I've had all the major ones. I didn't think it peaked in age yet either.

Nice catch, I'm usually the one correcting grammar...have to admit that I hate when I make the same mistakes that I usually catch. :slight_frown:

Fair enough, however, you made it a little confusing when you replied to me (pixieskid) and were referencing the other guy, saying he was pixieskid...now I am most definitely being incredibly confusing.

Yes, absolutely. I've had Westy 12, Abt. 12, Rochefort 10, Pannepot Reserva, Pannepot Grand Reserva, etc.

    Pannepot Reserva was my favorite.
