The US is a very big place man with both local and huge regional variety. What states did you travel to? What breweries or bottle shops?

If a smoked amber lager sounds good to you you should definitely find a can and give it a try. If it sounds gross to you, you should seek it out depending on your level of adventurousness

Waldo? Not familiar with it. And unless I can't figger out the new website, I don't see any way to search for beers like BA used to allow.

People who don't understand the definition of the word 'innovation' are certain to call those beers innovative.

"Sour amber wheat ale brewed with orange peel, chili powder, sea salt, and msg seasoning" has got the be the most bastardized thing that I have ever seen called a Gose.

A mix of bars and taprooms. So far this year I've been in Austin, San Antonio, Chicago, Atlanta, Asheville and Raleigh.

In tha last year or so I've been to Washiington, California, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina and Illinois. A shitload of breweries. I can't remember them all off the top of my head.

Dang sad to hear even more than. I've been real grateful that my area is behind the times lately. I'm drinking a lovely Porter right now, and the"hippest " style on at the taproom are a dry hopped red ale and a bourbon barrel stout (no flavorings and it's sub 8%)
