I am wanting to brew an esb for the transition from winter to spring. I have heard Styrian Golding hops would be a good choice to mix with Willamette? Anyone have any experience with them? I love the aroma and taste of them in Surly's Cynic ale- some great apricot flavors..... Thoughts on the hop?

Styrian Goldings are essentially Fuggles hops and would be a suitable choice for a bitter.Willamette is similar to Fuggles too.Timothy Taylor's use a mixture of Fuggles, Goldings and Styrian Goldings in their Landlord bitter and it works brilliantly.

Thanks- I was thinking of the following hop schedule: Total IBU's 45.

    1- FWH of Styrian Goldings
    2- 60 min- Willamette
    3- 5 min- Willamette
    4- 0 min- Styrian Goldings
