    Hey Seattleites,

I am in the midst of a week of vacation out here, and, of course, I bought a bunch of beer, too much to put in a checked bag at the airport, in fact. Shipping is my only option.

I searched the forums and couldn't find a current thread about where to acquire 12-bottle styrofoam shippers, so I was hoping someone here could direct me to a source. I would really appreciate not having to go the Bubblewrap route.

Thanks a lot for any guidance.

@BuckeyeOne , perhaps when this question gets answered, you could put it in the OP of future Visiting Seattle threads?

Amazon! Good Sixers w/boxes are like $10 if you've got time to free Prime/same day in Seattle

You can also order online from uline.com or call them. They provide same day pickup from their Will Call department. Only require a 1-hour window from time you place order.

The main downside I remember involved charging a $25 processing fee for in person/will call pickups. Not sure if they still charge this because some people are claiming the fee has been waived recently (not sure).

Yes, some U Haul's throughout the Seattle region have 1, 2, and 4 bottle shippers (bombers). Cheaper price than Uline. I've used both and would only suggest DOUBLE BOX their shipments (both U Haul & Uline)

I've the seen the Uhaul bottle shippers at the Ballard, North Seattle (165th Aurora), and the Everett location (Evergreen Way).

Some of the corrugated wine shippers are awesome and have held up better than styrofoam shippers on different occasions.

Lastly, if you have time and/or interested........go to one of the Total Wine & More's in Seattle. Look at the bottle carrier/luggage pieces they have on display. Pricey at around $250-$300, but is TSA approved. It's basically a regulation sized piece of spinner luggage that is lined/outfitted for wines, spirits, beers, etc. Plenty of free heavy duty empty boxes at Total Wine if you decide to go the bubble wrap route.

    Good Luck!!!!
