BG set a high bar with "Double Secret Probation." Consequently, one can only be super excited to see Suarez tackle the style with "Fundamental;" can’t picture the team falling anywhere near short – On the hunt

Does Qualify Pils usually sell out on release day? I've been wanting to make the trip for awhile and can't make it until Saturday

Can't say for sure, but Suarez is pretty remote, so I think your chances of getting beer on Saturday are good.

Looks like I'll find myself in Poughkeepsie in March, so this might be on the list for a visit if I have time. Quick question...since Suarez and Sloop are close together, which one is better for a sit down and which would be better to just swing by to pick up a purchase. I'll be driving by myself and two beers will max me out, so I can't drink at both.

Suarez is tranquil, very relaxing, and decidedly proper. Sloop is a bit more laidback/fun and played rock pretty loud when I was there this past summer.

If your concern is driving, many of Suarez's offerings will be of a lower abv than Sloop's.

Thanks. I was able to have a crowler of Juice Bomb when I was in NY last year, so maybe it makes sense to go to Suarez since I've never had any of their beer and the lower ABV certainly helps keeps me legal with the driving.

What do you like to drink -

An argument can be made that Suarez makes the cleanest lagers around; however, Palatine takes a depth of understanding that develops with experience/plethora of lagers via palate development…Suarez defines crispness

Don’t seek out for hype, but for preference

Just wanted to drop in and say how amazing this brewery is. Their pale ales and saisons are as good as anything from HF and their pilsners are beautiful and crisp and true to the style.

If I lived in the Hudson Valley of NY this would be the place that kills me.

I think as long as they stay away from brewing hazy DIPA's they'll keep the hype at bay. You guys are lucky to have such an amazing brewery making light, flavorful beers. Honestly not a ton of those around.

suarez is absolutely stunning beer, it never falters.. it never fails... every time it's dialed in

and... would you expect any less really.. think of where he was before he opened... to me Suarez is HF and HF is suarez etc... just pure fucking perfect beer/saisons/BA stuff... such a delight and i wish i could visit and have a fucking pretzel already!

I so hope it stays this way and never becomes a "lineup at 5am" spot like Hudson Valley has become.

As much as I enjoy the DDH Oat/Lactose IPAs and new-fangled sour IPAs a la HBV, there's a part of me that really appreciates a nice, clean, crisp, easy-drinking beer whether it be pilsner, kolsch, helles, or any other variation of that ilk.

I wish I lived closer, because nothing on Long Island goes toe-to-toe with Suarez when it comes to these styles. I haven't had much of their stuff, but everything I've tried has made me a believer. The greater Hudson Valley region has officially been added to my vacation spots this summer.

In this country I would say Hill Farmstead and a very few others are on Suarez level, def. best brewer in NY State.
