For those in the Triangle, Sub Noir is starting a beer club with access to four limited release bottles and a 32 oz. stainless steel growler. All for $100. Membership is limited to 150 people. More details via the link below.

It's great to see them taking things to the next level. Now if they'll only expand taproom hours.

I live in Charlotte but never had any of their beers. How are they?

They're pretty good. Have a really small setup. Tucked away in a commercial strip mall. Some crazy one-offs, sours, and barrel-aged gems. Usually four beers on tap. Not your standard brewery by any means, and that's what sets them apart. I recommend anyone check them out if you're in Raleigh for a weekend. They just expanded their taproom too.

I will second all of this. They have sours that can keep up with wicked weed.

Their sours are better than Wicked Weed's IMO, even though they're all just different versions of the same base Flanders. The other stuff I've had from them is good, not quite on that same level.

I'll probably join this since the taproom is really close to my house and we go there often. The best perk offered to me is that those stainless growlers are the only ones that can be filled there, which is cool.

It's an awesome low-key place to hang out that generally has a couple beers on that are not like the ones you'd expect to find at a place like that. I agree with @KRubes though about hoping they expand their hours soon, at least to Sunday.

Love the beer and the vibe at the taproom. I'll be joining even though I'm 45 min away. Their base Flanders is exceptional so it stands to reason that all the variations are as well.
