Sucaba in MD

    Hey guys i was looking to land a bottle of sucaba this year. Any word on when or if it already has, hit the market in the Maryland area, most notably baltimore/DC metro area?

    Don't think it has been here yet but since it has already hit part of NJ I might be wrong. Last year it came and went fast - like maybe a window of a couple days, but the window was months later - like April or May. Sucaba was the smallest bottle count in MD of Sucaba, DDBA, Velvet Merkin, and Parabola last year (in my experience).

    As for MD, we usually see FW releases several weeks after they hit NOVA so it may still be a while.

    Looked for it around DC this weekend, didn't catch any. Could have missed it, but Norm's supposedly only got it in Friday so I'm thinking it didn't land here yet.

    I'm convinced that if you have a job, this beer is simply impossible to get in VA. I found out last week that it would be coming to Total Wine today, I just went by after work and she told me they sold 3 cases in like an hour this morning.

    A friend in Cali told me one shop had a special where if you buy 3, they are only $12.99/each. We're lucky to find them and they'll be $18-$20 each! Location, location, location.

    That's crazy price (though there was a store here that sold last year's at $22 and sold out eventually). Came and went fast in NJ but ranged from $14-$17.

    I hate to be that guy but when it gets this bad you know they sell some fine bourbon at the liquor store. Buffalo trace, Eagle rare and even Elijah Craig 12 year can be had on the shelves and it tastes just as good with none of the hassle.
