Sucaba is out!

    For those of you who haven't heard yet, Sucaba is out. Total Wine has a 1 bottle limit at 16.99 and Bevmo is a 2 bottle limit at 17.99. I just got back from the total wine in Laguna and they were down to 6 bottles but Bevmo in Lake Forest had a couple cases left.

    Or you can go to Costco where there is no limit and the price is $11.74 or something like that.

    I stopped by 3 different Costcos (Lakewood, Cypress, and Signal Hill) over the last few days, not one of them had Sucaba.

    I've seen cases left at multiple BevMo's and TW's. $16.99/ea. You can also buy online and pick up in store.

    I've never seen a Firestone Walker limited release in a bay area trader joe's.

    Parabola was at TJ's off 19th n Ocean, in SF, last year for that price. Was awesome!

    sorry, I'm in LA.

    I found bottles this past weekend at the Eagle Rock TJ's. They also had it at the Hollywood location according to someone in another thread. No limit at either.

    Bevmo has it easily at ~$17. Bought 1 at Costa Mesa last week.

    Called Costcos, Fountain Valley had 8 @ 2pm last weds at $11.99 or so, which I assumed were burned by 5pm. They said only a few other stores would get it so calling would be good, but based on today's date is a HUGE YMMV.

    I grabbed 3 (no limit) at Trader Joes in Culver City for $13.99 on Saturday. I expect it's making it's way south, but no limits and Trader Joe's variations (like Costco) by types of beers carried means YMMV too. I'd say, if you're banking on any of these solutions, call in advance!

    A palette of 2014 from their FW library (or whatever) hit the area down here on accident, I was surprised to see it at the local BevMo. It sounds like the reps scrambled to recover the remains. Would have bought some if I didn't already have a couple. Aged Sucaba <3

    Which Bevmo? My coworkers wife picked up two bottles of 2014 for him. He ended up selling one to me, and that's when we noticed they were 2014's. Score.
