Thanks for the offers. I need to get my ass back out to Philadelphia. May go for 3-4 days later this year. I hit the East Coast many times, though all before my craft beer days except the final years visiting the DC office (Churchkey was a Godsend). Almost went on $99 RT SWA flights n December but too cold.

Definately want to hit Forest & Main, Monks, Yards and a few other places in between cheesesteaks (wiz wit).

For me in Mass, I will offer up Be Hoppy by Wormtown. Consistently good, widely available and sold in multiple formats (16 oz cans, 12 oz, bottles and stovepipes). There are many worthy contenders however

    I don’t think we’ve had a Montana resident chime in yet…

If I could choose when my friends visit, then I'd serve them Carton Epitome or Ramstein Eisbock. But they're only available seasonally.

If I had to pick an always available beer, then Kane Overhead.

Genny Screamers. Old school family beer of choice. Potato masher bottle in a double flip case or don’t bother! (I know they don’t make either any more.)

Well, if it's this time of year, I am taking them to Sherman Street brewery in Allentown to have a Spring Bock. This place is one of the best hidden gems.

If it's something less niche they're looking for, I'll go Victory Dirt Wolf.

Lots of PA people on this post went with Troegs Perpetual. That's hard to argue against, so that gets my bronze.

If it was still the original formula, Victory Prima Pils would be my pic for PA.

For Maryland, I’d be fine with Union Double Duckpin (which isn’t year round), but I think Flying Dog’s Raging Bitch would be a good choice. 50 states…we need a Belgian IPA to provide taste bud variety and it’s widely distributed. Or Natty Bo if friends are coming in for a crab feed.

Double Duckpin is a great Imperial IPA and I've never understood why it isn't year round.

For the hop heads, Creature Comforts Tropicalia IPA. It's a well-balanced American IPA with the tropical and citrus fruit aromas you expect from a great IPA. You can find it almost anywhere. And it's Thor's favorite beer. I mean, how could you go wrong.

For the lager lovers, Good Word Brewing Riding Bikes In Munich Helles style. Chances are, if you're down here in Georgia, it's going to be hot and humid, so we would need something tasty and thirst quenching.
