Suggested Denver Brews To Try?

I agree with the Modus Hoperondi (Ska) and the Hop Abomination (Dry Dock). Strange Brewing's 1000 Barrel Imperial IPA is excellent as well.

 

So Mr. B's and Argonaughts are both out of Temptation. Does anyone know a spot in Denver where I can still pick up a bottle while I'm here? I've been dying to try this. Shoot me a beer mail if you can help me out. Thanks!

 

I've gotten some of their stuff from Logan Liquors before. They're a small shop but they get some good bottles in.

 

Upslope Pumpkin is being held hostage by the SKU monster

 

Grimm Brothers is sometimes forgotten, but they make some excellent beers of all sorts and their bottles are common now. River North's big Belgians are all really nice. Ditto with Elevation. More or less all of their beers are stand-outs.
Odell's hoppy beers are the best ones in the state...or at least on par with Ska's Modus Hopperandi depending on your taste preferences.
If you see any Backcountry - that's our hidden gem. Not every store will have their beers, but most good ones will.

 

??? Most of the big boys got it last week after it was released to Boulder County. Saw a sizable stack at Applejack and a 30-caser at Superior.

 

Yah, only stores that carry all Upslope SKUs get 'em. I hate to have old, expensive double IPA bomber/cans taking up space

 

Bubbles had it this weekend in copious amounts.

Ah, I get it - SKU hostage not UPC hostage. Misread it as similar to the Lips of Faith hold ups.

 

I didn't count the cans, but the slot in the cooler was full all the way back. At least 8x4 packs.
