Headed to South Carolina next month, close to Charleston area. We plan to stop at Westbrook Brewing but was curios if any others are worth a look in that area? Seems to be a handful of breweries down that way. Cheers!!
Do a 'Charelston' search under the South-Atlantic forum...and don't miss Holy City, lots of SC folks are big into Westbrook, but I prefer Holy City
Holy city, coast, and Westbrook forsure for main ones. Frothy beard, revelry, and freehouse are pretty sweet too. Honestly none are a bad choice but Westbrook and holy city are awesome
Don't skip out on COAST. Westbrook gets all the hype, and much of it deservingly so, but COAST is quite fantastic in its own right. The others are worth checking out if you have the time, but COAST and Westbrook are musts.
COAST and Westbrook are excellent and should be at the top of the list. I think Revelry has one of the best taproom experiences though. They often have food trucks and live music outside, with a nice outdoor patio area, it's really just a great atmosphere. I like their beer better than Holy City personally, but that's just my opinion. They have a lot of creative stuff on the menu.
