I would have suggested allagash white, our keg of Torpedo is about to kick and i'm thinking that will be our next office keg, but definitely can't go wrong with Harpoon Summer. Otter Creek Hop Session is one i've been enjoying a lot lately though...

Allagash White is a great option, too. I like the idea of drinking locally-made beer. I suppose all of New England should count for us.

allagash white, captain lawrence kolsch, or captain lawrence liquid gold. Each are nice and light, perfect for summer, and should appeal to the masses. Plus Captain Lawrence is relatively local (NY).

I think for the audience you've described, and for a one-keg system, Harpoon Summer is a much better choice, despite the fact that i PERSONALLY like Allagash White much more. Especially among some people who are not full on beer nerds, you're always going to find a few people who don't like either Belgian yeast characteristics or wheat beers, and Allagash White hits both of those. Can't think of any reason someone who drinks any beer at all wouldn't drink a Harpoon Summer, regardless of whether they LOVED it or not.

I change my vote to Cape Ann's Fisherman's Ale. You'll have to special order it somewhere probably, but they do 1/2 bbls.

Just ordered my log of Harpoon Summer today and will pick it up with the Festina next week. Need to get home and knock off the DFH 60. It's good to have goals.
