So happy to have this back. It is an excellent lager. I will definitely be buying more, as it's better and cheaper than 90 percent of the craft lagers I try. Wish it were year round.

Inspired by this thread I told myself I would grab a 6 pack of this of I saw it, and that happened yesterday. 4/4 batch, only drank one and drank it at the end of a long day. A couple hours earlier I had a Crux pilsner (excellent) and a bamboo pilsner that turned out to be a year old and was borderline undrinkable.

The summerfest was nice, it wasn't as crisp as the one from Crux but it reminded me a lot of scrimshaw. I'm gonna have to do a side by side.

Had my first couple cans of the season yesterday. It's got a perfect balance of yeast, hop bite, and sweet undertones. Just a phenomenal summer backyard beer. I'll be buying more for sure. So glad this is available again.

Finally got mine in central MD…canned 3/28 so about 5-6 weeks old. Tasting better than I remember it. I actually think the can label is very nice. I’ve always been a sucker for beverages in blue cans.

FYI, Seems a lot of people from a lot of states are reporting in 4-5 week time from canning date to shelves. Where’s the bottleneck in the supply chain here? Distributors wearhouse?

Some of the SN Wholesale Distributors will not send out one seasonal (spring seasonal in this instance) until the other seasonal (i.e., Powder Day) is depleted at the retailers.

    Cheers!

    Is Summerfest can conditioned?

No. According to SN, Pale Ale and (depending on this particular year's decision) Celebration are the only beers can-conditioned.

I was able to find some the next day when I went in. Already went through my 2nd 12 pack. Will pick more up this weekend. It's just a solid, crisp lager!

Admit it, your fridge is full of Bud Light.

Holy crap, you went through 24 beers already?

I find it interesting that TJs is selling it for $10.99 a six-pack. Usually TJs is cheaper than grocery store prices. Is anyone finding it for less?

Haven't checked TJ's yet, but the closest Total Wine to me has it for $8.49.

Yeah, I checked after I posted and TW is the cheapest out here. $17.99 for a 12 pack which is good.

I believe he is stating that his next 12-pack will be the fourth purchase (so far) for a total of four 12-packs (so far).

@flaba did I get that right?

    Cheers!

And that "hint" would be: Discontinue beers in order to get enough people to actually buy them when they return the following year.

I am more curious about what the 2024 Summerfest sales will look like... assuming SN doesn't skip a year.
