Or will one of the folks in the SN Marketing & Sales department come up with the idea that skipping years is the prudent business strategy to 'build up' demand for seasonal beers? Maybe in the future for all four seasons they will differing beers for odd vs. even number years?

And maybe the above 'strategery' will be kept a secret and not be announced. To even further customer FOMO?

    Cheers!

I have a feeling that SN monitors the BA site, and specifically this thread for now, so that all of the positive discussion and purchases that we generate will go a long way towards their future brewing plans.

So to help, I think this is the best American pale lager that I've ever had, and plan to buy more if I can find it regardless that my beer fridge is already full.

I'll probably grab some more this weekend. Hoping I can find a few more 12s but will take 6rs if it's all I can find. Its a damn good value that's hard to beat. The Saint Arnold Summertime Pils is the only other 1 I can think of that can contend with quality and price for a 12r.

    Four 12-packs "total," methinks.

I'll be curious what Summerfest's sales look like vs. Summer Break's.

It took a bit of searching to find it, but using the Beer Finder on Sierra Nevada's website I was able to locate it. It's fortunate that the site exists because I casually checked 2 stores before using it and they didn't have it. I think this might be the first time I've had it in a can which is nice because it makes a good shower beer. I'll have to add it to the list of camping beers as well.

Oh, got it. We used to call that "two cases". And it wasn't the math that threw me - I can do the math.

Did you know that in the UK the phrase is "Do the maths." Wait, there's more than one? Now that might make things harder (than Chinese algebra). But maybe the person who told me that (the UK thing) was "taking the piss". Another UK expression that I'll never understand.

The Brits that I worked with (and there were many) would use the expression "do the sums".

    Maybe a difference in generation(s)?

    Cheers!

Oh no, he was right -- it was definitely the syntax.

But if the long version of the word, Mathematics, has an 's' at the end (and I don't think it's considered a plural word), then the short version of the word should also have an 's'. Makes sense to me, although I've never put an 's' on the word math.

Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Hard agree, it punches above its weight. The only comparable Texas lager for me is Live Oak Pilz and that requires a 3-hour drive to get.

I found summertime Pils earlier. It's a given since we're in Texas. Believe iv drank close to few cases of SA summer pils already. I'm going to grab some bottles next time. Loving the Saint Arnold distribution atm.

Does Live Oak do 12 packs? Iv never had Live Oak beer unfortunately.. would love to taste some.

Sorry to go off Summerfest topic. Forgive me

    No, I actually didn't.

I was confident in the power of public opinion that swayed SN to bring back the beers -- not some confidence game to generate attention.

Leave that to lesser breweries.

It's nice to see Sierra Nevada flex its lager brewing muscles, isn't it?

After my initial 6 pack, I picked up a 12 pack in Northern Mass yesterday, canned 4/11 so happy to see they are still making batches. Tasted super fresh so I assume it's been kept cold almost the entire time and I'm really digging it this year. I've certainly noticed my pilsner tastes have gravitated to the german style and this is scratching that itch for me. I'll do my best to drink enough they make it again next year.

SNSF has been on shelves here for a few weeks and I feel naked without any! So it's off to the bottle shop! I look frwd to having it. Advertised at $13.49 per 12pk...we'll see if that's true.
